We are always looking for Members interested in being part of the Board. Members are welcome to announce their candidacy before the meeting (by e-mail or on this event) or at the time when the position is called during the meeting.

Open Election Positions:

• Chair*

• Board at Large (#2)

• Board at Large (#4)

*ACES Bylaws 3.2: To be elected to the Chairperson or Co-Chairperson position, a nominee must have served at least 1 year (1/2 term) on the board in any position, whether voting or nonvoting.

Ways to vote:

• In-Person Voting - Attend the All Members Meeting and vote in person.

• Absentee Voting - If you cannot attend the meeting, you can vote absentee by emailing KitsapACES@gmail.com. Please subject the email "Fall 2026 Elections", include your membership information (name, number, and expiration date), and the position and candidate you would like to vote for. Absentee vote notifications must be received by the Wednesday before the meeting (Oct 7, 2026).

• Proxy Voting - If you cannot attend the meeting, you may also vote by proxy. To do so, email KitsapACES@gmail.com. Please subject the email "Fall 2026 Elections", include your membership information (name, number, and expiration date), the date of the election you are voting in, and the name and membership number of the member who will be voting by proxy for you. Both you and the other person must be members in good standing. They will then be given an extra ballot on your behalf and vote in person at the meeting. Proxy vote notifications must be received by the Wednesday before the meeting (Oct 7, 2026).
