DOOR Volunteer Training Workshop

We have a new training schedule. DM and Door Training will rotate every other odd-numbered month to help shorten the workshops and provide more training opportunities. If you cannot attend this workshop, please be on the lookout for the next one!

Are you an active participant in the Kitsap area kink scene and enjoy spending time at ACES? Would you like to help support our non-profit organization? Looking for more ways to become involved in the community? Do you have a desire to help strengthen our team of volunteers? Would you like a peek at the "behind the scene" work that goes into hosting our events? Then we would love to have you!

We are looking for new volunteers.

  • Date: Jan 10, 2026

  • Time: Doors open at 3:30 pm, Workshop from 4pm - 6pm

  • Location: Kitsap ACES 318 N Callow Ave, Bremerton, WA 98312

  • Attire: Street friendly

  • Cost: No cost

At this event you will receive a workbook with helpful resources on how to become a Trained Support Volunteer (TSV). These types of volunteers can help with dungeon monitor and door position opportunities at our events. The workbook also goes over the code of conduct and expectations of being a volunteer to help those interested to be better prepared and organized during their volunteer journey.

The workshop will provide introduction training on:

  • Door Position - how to efficiently run the front desk to keep attendance at events, help with new membership signups and process payments.

Our next DM training will be in March.

We highly encourage all current volunteers to also join the workshop. This is a great refresher to make sure you are up to date with any rule changes, expectations, code of conduct and/or types of responsibilities. New Code of Conducts must be signed by all current volunteers.

*This workshop is meant for educational purposes and does not automatically grant volunteer status to those who attend. At the workshop you will learn about the vetting and shadowing process that must also be completed to become a TSV.
