Queer Discussion Group: Is Being Queer Political?

Join us for a thought-provoking discussion as we explore whether queerness is inherently political. Given the timing of Election Day, we’ll examine questions like:

• Is being queer tied to political activism?

• How are gender identity and sexuality connected to politics?

• Is there an obligation within the queer community to engage politically?

• How do our experiences as a marginalized group connect with other communities?

• What political groups do we feel solidarity or tension with?

Who: Open to anyone who identifies with the queer community, member or not.

Cost: $5 suggested donation (no one turned away for lack of funds).
